The greatest blessings in her life are her three children, Stephen, Russell, and Stephanie who have blessed her with grandchildren - Joesphe, Xander, Stevie Jo, Ethan, & Jeremiah. Her children were the spokes in this wheel of life who have been her motivation to do more, do differently, and never give up. Working hard and taking risks to survive as a single parent brought trials, growth, mistakes, and achievements. Graduating from Petit Jean Vo Tech in 1987 with her LPN, she started work with St. Vincent in Morrilton; then moved to Doctors as surgical tech in N. Little Rock; returned to Morrilton working in Geriatric care, Arkansas Wound Specialist, and finally for 11 years to present; in our South Conway County School District. Sandy has also attended Cosmetology school and worked in a salon for 4 years. Missionary work on her time off with the school in the past 11 years has filled her heart with joy. Being an ordained licensed minister and lover of travel has fulfilled dreams of her childhood and built strong relationships afar. She has had the privilege to travel globally, sharing the love that Jesus has shared into her heart. Morrilton roots run deep in her soul. Sandy loves her city and surrounding communities with a passion to see positive influence and growth. Event planning began a new part of the mission's ministry, For His Glory Missions Ministry, LLC. Founder, Sandy and board have organized multiple public gatherings to support and encourage our community. Recently, she was certified in spiritual counseling through DOORs program. They offer weekly meetings downtown. They are a Chamber member and they are approved with Drug Court. Sandy says they welcome anyone to attend as many family members are affected through addiction.
